Why 42 Sidenotes needs a sibling
You probably noticed it.
42 Sidenotes has quietly been changing course.
Originally, I started 42 Sidenotes to be about: “opinionated observations, answers, and questions on (the meaning of) life, the universe, and everything”.
I intended it be a space for me to comment on anything and everything that piques my interest. However unrelated the topics may seem. Because I love to get curious and share what I’ve dug up.
The gradual shift of 42 Sidenotes has been a reflection of me finally, at 63 and 64, working out what I want to do when I grow up, or at least for the next 5 years or so.
That requires a fuller shift. One I don’t want 42 Sidenotes to take.
42 Sidenotes was originally intended to be about big and small questions, sideways observations, connecting dots that don’t seem to be connected, in way about “what even is this life?”
That’s what I’m returning it to, and why it needs a sibling.
Enter Deliberately Difficult & Laughing.
42 Sidenotes’ difficult sister.
She’ll be talking about what happens when you stop complying with your patriarchal conditioning and start questioning and rejecting its messages. And about how you can start answering the essential questions from your core self.
Through Deliberately Difficult & Laughing I’ll help you Fuel interruptions to indoctrination, Return to your core, Encourage you to take up space, and Equip you to claim “difficult” as a badge of honor. All with fun and laughter baked in.
